description

Pyrocoustic Sealant is a one part, intumescent acoustic rated acrylic emulsion.
It is designed to resist the passage of both fire and sound. The sealant will intumesce and form a char that produces a smoke seal when exposed to the heat of a fire. In normal use it will maintain the sound reduction index of a structure.

• Halogen free. Resists fungi and vermin.

installation

• Clean all joint free from dust, oil and grease.
• Masking surrounding surfaces if necessary
• Ensure gap is filled using one of the above backing materials.
• Fill gap to the required depth, tool off for a smooth finish.

• Ensure a minimum depth of 6mm

storage and disposal

Pyrocoustic Acrylic Sealant should be stored indoors ideally between +5ºC to +30ºC in dry conditions. Shelf Life is twelve months from date of manufacture.
