Stopseal Fire Rated Silicone

Stopseal® Fire Rated Silicone is a one-part silicone sealant. It has excellent adhesion to porous and non-porous substrates used in the construction industry. High performance fire rated silicone sealant for fire sealing applications up to 100mm wide. Neutral curing fire rated silicone sealant with excellent weatherability, flexibility and being odourless. Primerless silicone sealant offering a 4-hour fire rating to BS476 part 20 &22.
Stopseal Fire Rated Silicone Sealant can be used for fire protection sealing of curtain walling, building facades, expansion joints, doorframes and block work walls etc

installation

• Ensure joint is clean, dust, grease and oil free.
• Mask surrounding areas and install backer.
• Fill gap to the require depth and tool off within 5 minutes.

storage and disposal

Stopseal Fire Rated Silicone Sealant should be stored indoors ideally between +5ºC to +30ºC in dry conditions. Shelf Life is twelve months from date of manufacture.
