Silverflame Fire Batt

Silverflame Fire Batt and fire barrier sealant are designed to prevent the passage of fire between compartment walls and floors whilst still allowing for the easy installation of services. The product is tested to BS 476 part 20/22 giving a fire and smoke barrier for 4 hours.
The Silverflame Fire Batt consists of a 1200 x 600 x 60mm mineral fibre board of 180 kg/m density and has Silverflame ablative sealant on both faces. At normal temperatures, the fire batt installed with Silverflame sealant remains flexible to permit thermal and mechanical movement of the services. Both products are unaffected by oil, fungus, moisture, vermin, weather and contain no halogens or asbestos.

storage and disposal

Silverflame Fire Batt is not affected by an outdoor environment. However, for long term storage and ease of installation it is recommended that it should be stored indoors, ideally in dry conditions. Ideal storage temperature between -5°C and +30°C. For health and safety details refer to Firestopit technical department.
Sealant shelf life 12 month from date of manufacture
