Silverflame Pipe Sleeves

The Silverflame® Pipe Sleeve is a flexible one piece shim steel sleeve comprising of an EPDM intumescent strip and fire resistant foam sandwich situated at either end of the sleeve.
Silverflame Pipe Sleeves are used to allow pipe work lateral and longitudinal movement whilst still maintaining the fire compartmentalization of a building. Suitable for use with steel, copper and plastic pipe with or without insulation. The sleeve is easily locked on to pipe work using an aluminium strap.

installation

• The Silverflame Pipe Sleeve is designed to fix to pipes/insulation requiring protection within walls or floors
• Wrap the sleeve around the pipe securing it with the aluminium strap
• Slide the sleeve in to place.

storage and disposal

Silverflame Pipe Sleeve is not affected by outdoor environment. However, for long-term storage and ease of installation, it is recommended that it should be stored indoors. No limit is given for the shelf life as the product will not deteriorate in storage.
