2 - Composition

Controlled blend of accelerated calcium sulphate, calcium hydroxide (<2% by weight), expanded perlite aggregate, limestone and organic additives.

3 - Hazard Identification

Not classified as hazardous under CHIP Regulations 1994/Amendments 1997.

Wet premix is alkaline, harmful to skin.

4 - First-aid Measures

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air and rest. If symptoms persist obtain medical advice.

Eyes

Irrigate with water for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists.

Skin

Rinse contaminated area with plenty of water. If irritation persists obtain medical attention.

Ingestion

Wash out mouth with plenty of water. Give plenty of water to drink. Seek medical attention immediately.

6 – Accidental Release Measures

Ventilate Area. Wear suitable protective clothing : see section 8. Scoop up and place in container to wait transfer. Dispose of in accordance with local authority requirements.

7- Handling and storage

Wear suitable protective clothing (see section 8).

Minimise dust creation and ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation of dust or wool fibres. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Cut the product with a sharp knife on a fixed workbench.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, off the ground.

Ensure adequate ventilation for airborne dust particles
Wear suitable gloves
Wear eye goggles
